POLK COUNTY BURN BAN IN EFFECT
11-17-2020 County Judge, Sydney Murphy, signed a Local Disaster Declaration that includes an Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning for the unincorporated areas of the County due to the dry weather conditions and the threat of wildfire.
The purpose of the Order is the mitigation of the hazard posed by wildfires by curtailing the practice of outdoor burning. Please see Declaration of Disaster and Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning for the details.

PROHIBICIÓN DE QUEMAR EN EL CONDADO DE POLK EN EFECTO
11-17-2020, la Juez del Condado, Sydney Murphy, firmó una Declaración de Desastre local que incluye una Orden que prohíbe la quema al aire libre para las áreas no incorporadas del Condado debido a las condiciones de clima seco y la amenaza de incendios forestales.
